4 Year Anniversary

ree

Okay, not a 1:1 here, but close enough

ree

Can't believe it, 4 years have gone by already, and of course, a lot more to come! My girl and I've been through so much together, traveled so far, and by the end of the day, she should be hitting 74k miles.

Last time I really talked about her besides during Cindy's reveal, I mentioned the mod list. Before I refresh it, I will mention I did the Suma Performance wide angle mirrors, and boy, do they really make a difference!

ree

As stated before, she has a sister now, Cindy

ree

Who has the 7k miles I would have put on her after everyone was advising I'd get a second car to keep the miles off as shes getting up there (And who's getting a 6 month review next month)

Yeah, time flies, who expected this? I'm winging this entry, although I will open up a Q&A in just a second.

ree

I'm glad you asked, because while she's been on the back burner, there are planned mods. As hinted above, thinking of switching back to OEM Upper Control Arms, and gonna eventually replace the interior LED's as while Oracle makes great products, less than thrilled with the interior kit, so that's gonna change.

Besides replacements, want to do a new grille because the OEM one just doesn't suit her anymore, thinking RTR

ree

And my prayers are finally answered, there's custom tuning in the works!

ree

Besides that though, not too much, although down the line, gonna replace my current soft top with an power close soft top:

ree

Which will finally sit back rather than flop around like a dodgy toupee in the wind

Yeah, not as much as Cindy, but she's gonna be worked on soon enough.

ree

You mean "are there", but I'll let it slide, and yes, there are. First of all, you can just ease off the clutch, as for better and worse, Cindy is a 90s Sports car at her core and you just can't clutch off and let it catch, you gotta feed her some gas whereas I can lazy with Ashley. Also, I can fit more people in the back easily, she's more relaxed and easy going, and can handle the lovely potholes are state govt fails to fix, not to mentioned the clearance and visibility.

Also being an offroader, she's got all the lights, and I can drive through town knowing the deer won't be a problem as I can spot them easily

ree

(And ya know they will).

On the off chance I do get hit, she's gonna be sturdier and more resilient, so while it'll suck, at least she won't be too badly hurt. But Deer aside, just helps to see more at night. It's like any family, one sibling is gonna be better at something than the other, and vice versa, but I love them both equally, no backhanded comments added either.

ree

Don't worry, she's definitely not a Mall Crawler

ree

Just my friends don't offroad as much, and I haven't had a chance to go anywhere considering they cut down trees at our local spot so only quads and dirt bikes can enter. Next year, I'm gonna do a lot more offroading, maybe later I'll just go around my parents property, but for now, just been busy.

That said, one of our friends has a JLU, and my friend with the Bronco, while on the fence on selling it or not, has the same trim, so we should all plan a trip to the Pine Barrens or somewhere to really have fun. I'll try to get a Team Dirtbash/Just Rice video of it regardless, and post about it, maybe you'll even see a Garage Day vid of parts being installed for Cindy (new one this weekend btw)

ree

Next year, definitely next year. Just a matter of which kit meow.

ree

Do I look like a cat to you, boy? Am I jumpin' around all nimbly bimbly from tree to tree? Am I drinking milk from a saucer? Do you see me eating mice!?

ree

Good! As of 'meow', I'm at 245pgs this year, which is 11 short of 2022's page count (256)

ree

Not gonna spoil too much, but this is where I'm at above, I'm excited to write it, just been so busy lately haven't had the time or energy to completely focus, although it'll be solid once I do. All will be revealed.

I also gotta write to my editor and get an estimate so I can get going with my latest story, just real life got in the way, although I'll get back on track. I don't suppose I'll hit 300 pages this year or have DND finished, but I will

Also speaking of DND, been playing a lot this year

ree

I just gotta try Fighter and Rogue now.

ree

Why, your toking now?

Yeah, thanks for taking a look. I'll get another update soon, and I'll try to have something other than Cindy's 6 month review. Lots going on, but gonna not neglect keeping you posted.

Again, thanks for taking a look, and have a great day!
